and welcomes 2.4 million passengers yearly. Luxor ranks fourth amongst
the Egyptian airports and covers a surface area of 300 ha. The
inauguration of the new terminal, designated to accomodate 7 millions
passengers per years, took place in May 2005 and the previous
terminal was refurbished and adapted to be Cargo terminal .
